Mystic Cactus is a personal website, hosting some of my thoughts and toy applications. Articles may touch on any number of topics: math, AI, parenting, religion, the outdoors, cooking.
My intentions for Mystic Cactus:
- Continually build new software, learn new technologies, and explore other topics
- Practice honing my ideas by writing my thoughts down and publishing them here
- Have fun building something lighthearted

Why "mystic cactus"?
It harks to my time in Tucson, AZ near Saguaro national park. I never saw any mystical cacti, but there is something special in the desert there and the nearby sky islands. It’s magical that the saguaro manage to tower so high, taunting the sun, flaunting their immunity to its bitter raging heat. May we all be blessed with the gumption and longevity of a Saguaro cactus!
